Faces of Hope (Faces) partners with nearly 20 organizations to provide wrap-around support for people who experience interpersonal violence.

Faces of Hope Foundation’s case managers and advocates help clients create safety plans, fill out civil protection orders, and obtain civil legal advice at no cost.

The Boise Police Department’s Special Victims Unit (SVU), located at Faces, is made up of detectives and victim witness coordinators. The SVU helps victims report incidents and explains the criminal process and judicial systems- so victims are well informed.

Faces also provides medical care with physical and mental health resources.

Registered nurses from St. Luke’s and Saint Alphonsus are on call 24/7 to provide Sexual Assault Forensic Exams; this is called the SAFE Program. Faces employs four crisis counselors who offer short-term counseling to help victims achieve safety and stability.

Faces of Hope offers support groups and classes for clients to develop other tools for recovery.

Current offerings include: De-Escalation, Families Finding Hope, Teen Support Group, and Going to Court with Confidence.

When a client comes to our Center, Faces provides emergency assistance which can include food and gas cards, clothing, lock changes, and emergency shelter.

As victims work to move forward, Faces employees connect event client with strategic referrals to help them succeed. These referrals include job assistance, food stamps, and housing services.

Faces of Hope’s goal is to ensure that every victim of domestic violence, elder abuse, child abuse, sexual assault, and stalking knows that Faces is here to support them during their time of crisis.
