Drea Kelly, a prominent dancer, choreographer, entrepreneur, actress, motivational speaker, and reality TV star, has transformed her personal experiences of marital abuse into a relentless mission to be “a voice for the voiceless.”

Kelly was previously married to disgraced R&B star R. Kelly, with whom she shares three children, and suffered emotional, sexual, financial, and physical abuse during their 13 year marriage. R. Kelly was jailed in 2022 after being found guilty of sex trafficking, racketeering, and child sexual abuse, though the accusations of sexual misconduct have been overlooked for decades.

Drea Kelly has since become a powerful voice for survivors and was featured in the Emmy-nominated Lifetime documentary “Surviving R. Kelly.” Her story of survival and transformation resonates with many, making her an influential figure in the fight against abuse.

“We are thrilled to have Drea Kelly join us for the 3rd annual Faces of Courage luncheon,” said Paige Dinger, Executive Director at Faces of Hope Foundation. “Her journey of resilience and advocacy aligns perfectly with our mission to empower survivors and create a safer, violence-free community.”

The annual benefit luncheon serves as a cornerstone event for Faces of Hope Foundation, providing critical resources and support to survivors of abuse. The event also serves as a platform to raise awareness and engage the community in the fight against domestic and sexual violence.

As part of the event, Faces of Hope Foundation is actively seeking sponsorships from individuals and businesses committed to making a positive impact in the lives of survivors. Sponsorship packages offer various opportunities for involvement and recognition. Additionally, individual tickets for the benefit luncheon will be available for purchase starting December 11, 2023.
